Maquilaplex Advantages
Through our In-Bond Fulfillment Program, foreign suppliers can store and fulfill orders from a bonded warehouse, with duties assessed only when goods are:
- Released into U.S. commerce (if sold domestically), or
- Exported to Mexican maquiladoras under an applicable duty-free or duty-deferred program.
This structure is designed to minimize U.S. duty exposure for goods destined for maquiladoras, while keeping the entry and compliance process straightforward. By combining bonded storage with a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) model, suppliers can:
