The Problem
A shipment arrives at 4 p.m. Nobody is free to unload it. The material gets stacked wherever there is room. Two days later, the line stops because no one can find it.
This is not a people problem. It is a systems problem. Receiving, storage, counting, and delivery to the point of use all need trained staff, the right machines, and a system that tracks every item. Most operations did not set out to run a warehouse. They ended up running one.
What Is an On-Site 3PL?
A third-party logistics provider (3PL) usually stores your goods in its own building. An on-site 3PL comes to you. Navco places a managed crew and the equipment inside your facility, plant, or yard, and runs the daily work there. You may also hear it called contract logistics, outsourced warehouse management, or in-plant logistics.

Your First 30 Days
- Week 1: Scope and walk-through. You tell us what comes in, what goes out, how much, and how fast. We walk the site and map the flow.
- Week 2: Setup. We settle the layout, assign the crew, bring equipment on site, and connect the WMS. We use yours, or install Navco’s.
- Week 3: Start. We run receiving, put-away, counts, picks, and deliveries. Your team sees one clear point of contact.
- Week 4: Tune. We review the first reports with you and fix what is slow, unclear, or in the wrong place.
Timing depends on the site and the scope. We confirm it in your quote.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an on-site 3PL?
An on-site 3PL is a logistics provider that runs your warehouse operation inside your own facility, plant, or yard. The provider supplies staff, equipment, and software, and manages receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
How is an on-site 3PL different from a traditional 3PL?
A traditional 3PL stores and handles your goods in its own warehouse. An on-site 3PL brings its crew, equipment, and systems into your facility, so your inventory stays where it is.
Is an on-site 3PL the same as contract logistics?
They overlap. Contract logistics means outsourcing warehouse and logistics operations to a provider under an agreement. An on-site 3PL is contract logistics delivered inside your own facility, plant, or yard.
How much does an on-site 3PL cost?
Cost depends on the size of the site, the volume of material, crew size, equipment, shifts, and transportation. Navco scopes the work after a site walk and sends a quote.
Do we have to move our inventory?
No. The service runs at your location. If you also want space, Navco offers warehouse and laydown yard space in Brownsville.
Can Navco use our warehouse management system?
Yes. Navco can work inside your system or set up its own WMS at your site.
What equipment does Navco supply?
Forklifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and other heavy equipment as the job requires, with trained operators.
Can Navco move materials from the yard to the plant?
